It's a bird ... It's a Plane ... It's Superman! Well Superman, before acquiring his super powers was just an ordinary journalist travelling on an airplane that got hit by lightning and all the powers of the plane were smehow thunder-embedded into his genetic code!!! :p

Long ago, in a land far far away...

Where elders flew & the children did play

The king of the land was Jor-El

In his reign did happiness dwell

Peace & love was everywhere

All they knew was love & care

No one ever felt alone

And all were happy on Krypton!

Then one day there came a goon

His nails were black & his eyes, maroon

He wreaked havoc everywhere

Spread all around, fear & despair

Kryptonians fought but it was no good

What the evil wanted, no one understood

And then came the time when all was gone

Jor-El had lost all except his newly-born

This child of his was named Kal-El

He put him in a metallic shell

As Krypton vanished into space

The shell took Kal to a new place

This place was the planet earth

And here Kal-El would find his worth

Found baby Kal lying near a hill

The took him in as their very own son

He grew around 'em having a lot of fun

And no matter where the three of them went

The couple would say "He's our son, Clark Kent"

Then one day something happened to Clark

And a beginning of new life it did mark

Out on the road he was walking

From behind he heard someone honking

He turned around and there was a car

Just an inch away & not very far

To save himself he made a jump

And up he went without a bump

 Up in the skies he saw Jor

He told Clark, he had much more

So that very day Kal discovered his clan

And became The Man of Steel - SUPERMAN!
