On this page I have uploaded some pictures comprising of various costumes and makeup worn by different actors during their Superhero movies.

THE DARK KNIGHT

First goes the all time favorite Batman. The charachter has been played by Adam West (1966), Micheal Keaton (1989) Val Kilmer (1995), the handsome George Clooney (1997) and Christian Bale (2005). The initial Batman costume was nothing more than a skin-fit nylon T-shirt ( I suppose). But later on the designers found some sense and thought of putting some muscle to it rather than displaying West's fatty tummy. Keaton was a colourful armor-bodied Batman who was never able to turn his head around (what a looser!). As the years ascended the tone of the suit darkened but head turning still remained an isuue until finally Christian Bale was given the liberty to do so without twisting his whole body. O and yes! Clooney's suit had something extra to it... The freakishly awful looking nipples!!! Really, what were the designers thinking?

MAN OF STEEL

Superman costumes didn't undergo a lot of change over time. The most obvious evolvement was the colour tone or the shortening of his red outer-underwear which eventually vanished or maybe Superman finally figured out where to don it! Henry Cavil's rubber costume in my opinion is the best amongst all. It portrays the Superman's gigantic physique & a well defined muscular outline which truly holds innate to The Man of Steel!

THE WEB SLINGER

Only three spidey-costumes have been produced for the silver screen till date. The first one seemes a bit puppety & was worn by Nicholas Hammomd in the 1977 Spider-man TV series. Later on in 2002, Toby Macguire clad the newly designed skin-tight costume which looked totally awesome and gave the true feeling of a real life Spider-Man. The eye-patches, Spider-Man logo and the webby look all gave this costume the pure Spidey outlook!. Andrew Garfield's costume in the film, The Amazing Spider-Man was a total new thematic design, though the look was pretty similar to that of Toby's outfit but the idea behind was totally new. Check out this video on YouTube on how the costume was designed!
