CHECK OUT THE DIFFERENT MODELS OF BATMOBILES USED IN BATMAN MOVIES UP TILL NOW

THE BATMAN (1943)

This model was used in the 1943 Batman film. To be honest, I think that this car was totally designed without keeping in mind the concept of Batman. This horrific looking four-wheeler in no manner represents the car that would go with the Bat's overpowering and dark character. Rather it looks more of a concept from The Jetsons cartoon series.

BATMAN & BATMAN RETURNS (1989 & 1992)

Quite better than the previous model, this one was used in the 1989 and 1992 Batman films. It gives some sense of armor and weaponry which was definitely an abstract idea for the 1943 Batmobile. But that long probe like thing protruding from the front of the car's turbine! What on earth could that thing be?!!!

BATMAN FOREVER (1995)

Too colorful for The Dark Knight's dark and terror inducing personality. This Batmobile model would have given a better Joker theme rather than Batman. Moreover, It had capacity for only one person. So Batty could not take the damsel in distress on a long sweet ride this time. Bat symbol on rims!!! I wonder if Bruce Wayne's carefree demeanor has gotten the best of Batman!

BATMAN & ROBIN (1995)

This Batmobile is quite Bat-ish in design but it too has more than needed color tone. It also gives the impression of Formula-1 race car on steroids. Apart from the color tone the car is undoubtedly awesomely designed. The smooth curves and the edgy corners give a look that is both the brave & the bold!

NOLAN's BATMAN SERIES (2005-2012)

The Tumbler without doubt is the best Batmobile concept used in a movie to date. It was the only car that was based on practicality. The tank-like armor, the fear inducing giganticness, the dark color tone, versatile weapon range and best of all the ability to transform into the Batpod, makes it the ace vehicle to suit the The Dark Knight's uncanny style!
